Back after another break, still busy with Mr Bond ...

• Spotted the following items in my daily tabloid paper, The Sun ...
1. Two cartoons late from January ...
   1. The left one has a naked pizza man telling the lady: "Here you are madam - one pizza with nothing on!" A case of "Eyes top not bottom !" ( 28/01 ).
   2. The right one has a naked lover house-calling being told by his lady: "I suppose I should have told you before, Martin, I still live with my parents!" A case of check your facts ! ( 31/01 ).


2. You never really think of naturism/nudism and street chain M&S together but their marketing catchphrase took a hammering with these two nude items.
   1. The first with main-heading of This isn't just nude .. this is M&S nude has "Marks & Spencer boss Sir Stuart Rose [who] has laid bare his secret past as a NUDIST in a joke letter to a customer." The item ends with a M&S spokeswoman denying the prank as "entirely tougue-in-cheek - Sir Stuart is not a naturist." Shock ! Horror ! Lock up your daughters if he really was ! The paper has a mock photo with his superimposed head & bag standing in some fields - how very stereotype ! He's too fit and missing his volleyball ( 25/01).
   2. A month later "two busty brunnettes peel off in a Marks & Spencer changing room in a sexy three-minute spoof of the store's hit telly ad." A hit on Facebook it ends with above heading of These are not just boobs ... these are M&S boobs. An M&S insider is end quoted "It's funny, but not the sort of thing we condone."
      Of course not, what next's for M&S, sponsoring a BN event ? ( 25/02).
3. A page 3 item headed Potter & the bare botters! with photo of actor Daniel Radcliffe opens "two male streakers held up filming of the new Harry potter movie - by darting naked through undergrowth during a woodlane scene [in Farnham, Surrey] .. [as stars] retreated to their caravans while security chased the pair off." After later "monkey noises" from the duo a source is quoted "Seeing naked bodies was a laugh - but the joke wore thin." Overexposure of film ? ( 04/03 ).
4. A paragraph headed STREAKING HAVOC tells of a "nude Nicholas Hadzick, 28, [who] caused thousands of pounds of damage running amok in a shopping mall in Pennsylvania, US". I wonder what he used as a weapon during this "amok" ? Seriously behave if you go out shopping naked ! ( 19/03 ).


5. You know that I regular follower of the paper's cartoon couple George & Lynne but I've been wondering if they're related to Dr Who as they never seem to age, they have no kids and Lynne's Page 3 boobs have defied gravity over the years. Today's story has Lynne curing hiccups by showing her hubby the latest credit card bill. It also helps if you walk around topless ! ( 26/04 ).

• The 4th series of How To Look Good Naked ( C4, Tues 20:00 ) started with "superstylist Gok Wan" who is back helping the ladies with body shape problems. With two new smiley assistants testing products and a "new segment Naked Britain sees Gok persuading groups of women to strip off", I think the novelty has worn off with this programme which has the feeling of "No matter how times you drink it, you can only go to the water-hole so many times." His intentions are good but I'm Gok'd off with another series. Notice the two publicity photos - for the close-up of GW an older shapely lady on his right but for the center shot a younger model is seen covering her chest - strange that ? ( 08/04 ).
• Slightly distracted by the newspaper background montage on the new series of Have I Got News For You ( BBC-1, Fri 21:00 ), have you spotted the word Nudist over Paul Merton's right shoulder ? ( 18/04 ).
